We are looking for 50 volunteers to help us STAFF this weekends Michigan Democratic Party nominating Convention.  Please sign up here if you are able to help set up, manage, and tear down the event. Call time for volunteer staff is 9am, at the Lansing Center.  Event description below:Bring your Abdul for Senate merch and join us at Saturday's convention.The 2026 Fall Convention of the Michigan Democratic Party will be held in Lansing at the Lansing Center on Saturday, August 29, 2026. The purposes of the MDP’s 2026 Nominating Convention shall be to formally nominate Democratic candidates to the November General Election in the following contests: Lieutenant Governor, Secretary of State, Attorney General, State Board of Education, University of Michigan Board of Regents, Michigan State University Board of Trustees, Wayne State University Board of Governors, and State Supreme Court.
