Sign up here for canvass shifts!PLEASE NOTE that this is a self-directed launch - you will need literature to canvass!Get literature from a county captain (message them in Slack) or Supplies Pickup LocationWant to canvass but not sure what to do? Attend an in-person or virtual training if you need guidance on how to talk to voters and how to use the canvassing app (OpenField) before you head out to canvass. Signups for both options are available on the Go Canvass page.Want to canvass with a buddy? Check out the #door-knocking channel in Slack or go to your Chapter channel to connect with local team members! When to canvass:You are allowed to canvass 7 days a week 9am - 9pm.The best times to canvass are:📅 Monday - Friday: 4pm - 8:30pm📅 Saturday / Sunday: 10am - 8:30pmShift goals: 50 doors per shiftAT LEAST 25 doors each time you go out - depending on the turf, you should be able to knock at least 25 doors in an hour or two, and will sometimes be able to knock 50 or more in the space of 2-3 hours. It is very important to be efficient and move quickly - we have a LOT of doors to knock and a LOT of voters to talk to and need to talk to as many people as possible whenever we go out!
It's time to get the word out - the election is in less than 90 days and we need to make sure voters have a chance to hear Abdul's message about getting money out of our political system so we can address the problems of our time in a serious way. Please get involved in canvassing. It is the work of the campaign from now until August 4th. Let's win this race.
This is a virtual training to provide guidance about how to talk to voters, how to use the OpenField canvassing app, and how to knock doors.
Please join us at an in-person training and launch event in your chapter if you are able to! If there are no events available in your area yet, and you're ready to get out and knock yourself to help change that, this training is for you! Sign up here and get the info you need to start knocking and talking.
