You only need to use your first name, and pick a location that is meaningful to you and others to set the stage! Your living room is not an option, the fact that you are local and believe in Abdul is how we will convince voters to vote for Abdul in the next two weeks. Think about what brought you to team Abdul, what inspires you and something that makes sense for your neighbors to understand why this election matters, for all of us. Good Locations: A park, a bar/restaurant, bowling alley, local Sculpture/Mural, Municipal building or historic place. I mean it could be Meijer if youre desprate. Thank you so much for your efforts!

Location:
Remember to pick a location that people in your area would recognize! Find a place that has controlled lighting and audio setting away from any extraneous noise, or large empty rooms that echo.
Camera:
Film with a simple background behind you that has no visual distractions, recognizable logos, busy wallpaper, artwork that could be licensed, curtains, and mirrors etc.
Record the video on your phone using the in-phone camera app. Do not use auto focus.
Framing + Lighting:
Sit or stand centered in the frame and hold the camera steadily in front of you at eye level.
You’ll want to create a soft, even light on your face and frame. To achieve this, use natural light or artificial lights like a ring-light or lamp.
Natural light is best, and we recommend filming on an overcast day during midday so that light does not shift drastically, or cast harsh shadows or bright light from the sun. DO NOT sit or stand with the window directly behind you.
Sound
Use the built-in microphone or an external microphone/recorder when capturing audio. Make sure that microphone is not covered, and is kept steady while filming.
It is also important that there are no distracting noises while filming. Examples include: fans, heating/cooling units, televisions, radio, construction, next door neighbors talking, airplanes, emergency, sirens, doorbells, garbage trucks, and honking cars. If a distracting sound does come in while filming, simply wait for the sound to finish, then go back for another take.
Wear solid colors and stay away from any reflective and busy textures. Stay away from large or recognizable logos.
Direction
Look and speak directly into the camera as though you’re talking to a friend or family member.
