By submitting the form below, you are requesting to join the Abdul for Senate Volunteer Community on Slack (workspace) to volunteer and collaborate on various projects, discussions, and initiatives.
By joining the community you agree:
- Not to disclose, publish, or otherwise reveal any Confidential Information to any third party for a period of one year from the submission of this form, and for as long as such information remains a trade secret.
- "Confidential Information" is defined as any and all technical, proprietary, business, operational, or financial information disclosed by campaign staff or volunteers to you, whether orally, in writing, electronically, or visually, including, but not limited to: internal discussions, strategies, plans, or future projects shared within private or public channels in the workspace; personally identifiable information (PII) of other community members, including email addresses, names, or contact details, which are not publicly posted; financial information, budgets, or fundraising strategies; and any information explicitly labeled as "Confidential.”
- "Confidential Information" is defined as any and all technical, proprietary, business, operational, or financial information disclosed by campaign staff or volunteers to you, whether orally, in writing, electronically, or visually, including, but not limited to: internal discussions, strategies, plans, or future projects shared within private or public channels in the workspace; personally identifiable information (PII) of other community members, including email addresses, names, or contact details, which are not publicly posted; financial information, budgets, or fundraising strategies; and any information explicitly labeled as "Confidential.”
- To use any information obtained solely for the purpose of volunteering within the Community and for no other personal or commercial gain.
- To protect the confidentiality of the Confidential Information using the same degree of care as they use for their own confidential information, but no less than a reasonable degree of care.
- That you are joining the Community to contribute, and you shall not use the Confidential Information to directly compete with the Community or solicit Community members or contributors for competing ventures.
This is an agreement effective in perpetuity from the date you submit this form. Your agreements survive any departure, voluntary or involuntary, from the Volunteer Community itself.
