About Canvassing
For the next three months, our job is to find several hundred thousand Michigan voters who will commit to voting for Abdul on August 4th. To do this, we will have a lot of conversations, and record a lot of data. Let's break it down:
Step 1: Review the Canvass Training Guides available in the #door-knocking channel in our Slack group
Step 2: Attend one of the in-person Training & Launch events below if you are within range of one, or a Virtual Training if you are unable to attend in-person
Step 3: Go canvass!
Step 4: Attend your Weekly Chapter Debrief in person, or join an open Virtual Debrief call for volunteers to share experiences talking to voters and learn from each other, practice skills, and report voter feedback to the campaign
